INARGUABLY, NO SCHOLAR IN OUR CURRENT AND CONTEMPORARY TIME COULD DEFINE THE REAL PERSONALITY OF OUR BELOVED PROPHET (PBUH) THAN HOW MAULANA SHEIKHUL ISLAM AL-HAJI IBRAHIM NYASS
WOULD DEFINE HIM IN HIS NUMEROUS WRITINGS, BOTH IN PROSE AND POETRY...!!!
Maulana Sheikh Ibrahim Niass said in his Quranic Exegesis (IN THE MEADOW OF EXEGESIS) in regards to this noble verse:
《(Oh Muhammad) You Posses The Greatest of Morals》
Allah Exalted and Almighty has revealed that Muhammad (PBUH) possesses the greatest of morals. Aisha (RTA) said: "His morals (encapsulates) the Qur'an". So whoever wishes to know the morals of Muhammad should (always) recite the Qur'an. "Verily the believers who are very devout to their prayer, who eschew from lewdness and who do pay their zakat (regularly) have succeeded. Up to the end of the verse. These are the morals or manners of Muhammad (PBUH).
The morals (charcater) of Muhammad is Al-Qu'ran. Whatever the Qur'an commanded he would implement it and whatever the Qur'an kicked against he (PBUH) wouldn't get closer to it. Even the Qur'an is the real (personality) of Muhammad (PBUH). The Qur'an is spiritual (book) and Muhammad is a physical (being). So whatever is in the Qur'an is within (the spiritual and physical being of) Muhammad (PBUH). Even when you think deep, you would observe that the Qur'an (in it's entirety) embodies (the personality of) Muhammad bun Abdallah bun Abdul Muttalib.
This (Qur'an) is a spiritual (book) and this (Muhammad) is a physical (being). The entire morals of the prophets are encapsulated in it. And the prophets have noble morals. But they vary from each other. Within (the psyche of) Muhammad (PBUH) you would find the serenity of Adam. Within (the psyche of) Muhammad (PBUH) you would find the gratitude of Nuhu. Within (the psyche of) Muhammad (PBUH) you would find the companionship of Ibrahim (to Allah) Within (the psyche of) Muhammad (PBUH) you would find the sincerity of Musah. Within (the psyche of) Muhammad (PBUH) you would find the patience of Ayyub. Within (the psyche of) Muhammad you would find the asceticism of Issah and Yahya. And within (the psyche of) Muhammad (PBUH) you would find the paitence and gratitude of Yusif. He had combined both status, then he was tested (with challenges[being thrown in the well and being imprisoned]) first and was patient and then (later) was graciously blessed (with leadership in Egypt) and then became thankful (to Allah).
